FAT STACK FRIDAY BOOK HAUL!
Here's what's new to me this week!
In the mail from publishers and authors:
Pestilence (The Four Horsemen #1) by Laura Thalassa
The Five Stages of Courting Dalisay Ramos by Melissa de la Cruz
Heaven Breaker by Sara Wolf
Pestilence was a Mother's Day gift from my family. I've heard good things in my Facebook book groups about this series so I'm excited to read it. Dalisay Ramos was sent by the publisher. I've only read one other Melissa de la Cruz book and it was fantasy, so this should be fun. And check out Heartbreaker, which my dad pre-ordered for me ages ago. Not only is it beautiful with the stenciled edges, but a sci-fi soap opera? SIGN ME UP!
From the libraray:
The Familiar by Leigh Bardugo
The Paradise Problem by Christina Lauren
Rebel Rising by Rebel Wilson
A Fate Inked In Blood (Saga of the Unfated #1) by Danielle L. Jensen
A Whisper in the Walls (Waxways #2) by Scott REintgen
It's crazy when all your audio holds from the library come in at once! I'm excited for the Bardugo book. I love anything she writes and her first adult will, I'm sure, be no different. I've waited a bit to read it, plus I had to wait for it to be available. I've already read The Paradise Problem (I got an early copy and you can read by review HERE) but I love to listen to Lauren's books so I'm excited to give it a try. I love Rebel Wilson. She's hilarious so I'm hoping her book matches her personality. I've seen A Fate Inked in Blood all over my book groups. I do own a sprayed edge copy, but though I might read along while listening. And A Whisper in the Walls is one I was hoping to get for review, since I read the first one for review, but it didn't happen, so now I get to listen on audio!
For review from NetGalley:
Love Requires Chocolate (Love in Translation) by Ravynn K. Stringfield
Fiasco (Uncharted Hearts #2) by Contance Fay
The Stringfield book is a Kindle book. The description made me think of the Stephanie Perkins series Anna and the French Kiss, which I loved. So I decided to give it a try. Fiasco is my first audio review book. I was sent an ARC of the first book and ended up loving it. I was disappointed to not get a copy of the second book in physical or Kindle format but was able to snag this audio and so far I am loving the narrator and the story!
What did you get this week?
