FAT STACK FRIDAY BOOK HAUL!
This past week was a good haul week for me with books! Not only was I gifted several but I was able to find a bunch at my local Goodwill, which rarely happens for me. Check out my stack!
Gifted:
Twisted (Never After #4) by Emily McIntire
Bride by Ali Hazelwood
I'm excited to have my complete set of McIntire books! I really love the reimaginings of well known fairy tales with the villain twist! These were also my first dark romances! Apparently I have a little bit of a twisted mind as I loved every minute of the first two in the series I have read. I can't wait to read the rest!
Bride was one of my most anticipated books for 2024. I adore Ali Hazelwood. I will say, I was worried about her jump into the paranormal. I wasn't sure she could pull it off but she NAILED it. And from what I can see, this one will be a bit of a series so I cannot wait for more in this world! I was fortunate to get to read an egalley of this book for review. Check that post out here:

Bought New:
Wretched (Never After #3) by Emily McIntire
Gothikana by RuNyx
Gothikana by RuNyx
I'm super excited to jump into Wretched as I've read the first two books in McIntire's series and have adored them. Give me all the villains from the fairy tales!
I will be honest and say I bought Gothikana soley based on the cover. It's absolutely gorgeous. But then I learned it's dark academia, and that is one of my favorite genres! I've seen some mixed reviews so I'm truly hoping I end up liking it.
Scored from Goodwill:
The Program Series by Suzanne Young
The Program Series by Suzanne Young
Harry Potter and the Cursed Child by J.K. Rowling
I've had an ARC of The Treatment by Young for years but have never jumped into the series. I love a good dystopian read. This one is a commitment with six books! I have already finished the first one as a buddy read with my pal Anne Marie Brewer and plan to post a review next week.
The Harry Potter book was a good find. It's the only book I didn't have to complete my set, so I figured why not buy it and put it on my shelf.
What books have you gotten this week?
