The New York Times bestselling “new Agatha Christie” (Air Mail) Ruth Ware returns with this adrenaline-fueled thriller that combines Mr. and Mrs. Smith with The Fugitive about a woman in a race against time to clear her name and find her husband’s murderer.
Hired by companies to break into buildings and hack security systems, Jack and her husband, Gabe, are the best penetration specialists in the business. But after a routine assignment goes horribly wrong, Jack arrives home to find her husband dead. To add to her horror, the police are closing in on their suspect—her.
Suddenly on the run and quickly running out of options, Jack must decide who she can trust as she circles closer to the real killer in this unputdownable and heart-pounding mystery from an author whose “propulsive prose keeps readers on the hook and refuses to let anyone off until all has been revealed” (Shelf Awareness).

Review:
Thank you NetGalley for providing me with a copy of the to read and review.
First the cover, really love it. It actually sent off a creepy vibe for me, though this book is not creepy at all.
The title, yeah, I had no idea what it meant. The book explains it for sure. But being un-techie, it's still not something I totally understand.
Despite the popularity of this author, I haven't been overly impressed with the books I've read by her. I keep picking them up hoping to like the next one more than the last. This one didn't throw me over the top.
I honestly found the main character underwhelming. And everything she did, despite her background and how much she tells you all about it, just seems totally over the top. She gets away with so much and in the end not a thing happens to her. Now, I'm not sure how the penal system works in the UK but in the USA she would definitely be in some kind of trouble for all the things she did.
I also figured out part of who done it by the middle of the book. It made the rest of the read harder. The suspense was gone and it didn't really go anywhere for me.
I'm sure lovers of this author will enjoy this book more than I did but it unfortunately missed the mark for me.
