In the epic conclusion to Soman Chainani’s New York Times bestselling series, The School for Good and Evil, everything old is new again as Sophie and Agatha fight the past as well as the present to find the perfect end to their story.
As A World Without Princes closed, the end was written and former best friends Sophie and Agatha went their separate ways. Agatha was whisked back to Gavaldon with Tedros and Sophie stayed behind with the beautiful young School Master.
But as they settle into their new lives, their story begs to be re-written, and this time, theirs isn’t the only one. With the girls apart, Evil has taken over and the villains of the past have come back to change their tales and turn the world of Good and Evil upside down.
Readers around the world are eagerly awaiting the third book in The School for Good and Evil series, The Last Ever After. This extraordinary conclusion delivers more action, adventure, laughter, romance and fairy tale twists and turns than you could ever dream of!

Ok, how about this (since it kind of keeps with the theme
of the books):
You've been dropped into the middle of a fairy tale. I
mean right in the middle. Your job is to change the ending! What fairy tale is
it and what ending would you want?
I’ve
always been a bit disgruntled by how The
Little Mermaid ends – both the Hans Christian Andersen original tale and
the heavily revised Disney version. In the original story, the Ariel character
disregards her family and friends’ warnings never to go to the surface and
instead makes a deal with the Sea Witch to trade her voice for a chance at a
human prince. For making such a careless choice, Ariel is punished by losing
her voice, her freedom, her family, her friends, and ultimately her life, when
she throws herself into the sea.
The
Disney version is no better. Ariel is rewarded for making a putrid choice to
run after a man she knows absolutely nothing about by winning his heart and
absconding off to be a princess, while leaving her family and friends under the
sea. To make matters worse, Ariel marries Prince Eric… even though he’s never
heard her say a single word.
In
my version of the story, Ariel would make the same deal with the Sea Witch and
successfully win her prince’s kiss… only to realize she knows nothing about
him. As a result, she would either relinquish him and return under the sea,
realizing she’s chased a superficial dream with little substance – or perhaps
in an added twist, the prince would ask the Sea Witch to magically gift him
fins, so he can chase Ariel to her
home and prove his love for her the way she once proved hers.

When he’s not telling stories or teaching in New York City, Soman is a die-hard tennis player who never lost a first-round match for ten years . . . until he started writing THE SCHOOL FOR GOOD AND EVIL. Now he loses all the time.
