Waiting on Wednesday is a weekly meme hosted by Jill from Breaking the Spine that spotlights upcoming releases we are eagerly awaiting!
My pick this week:
Title: The Return (Titan #1)
Author: Jennifer L. Armentrout
Publisher: Spencer Hill Press
Expected Publication Date: February 2015
It’s been a year since Seth made the deal with the gods that pledged his life to them. And so far, the jobs they’ve given him have been violent and bloody – which is kind of all right with him. But now Apollo has something else in mind for Seth. He’s got to play protector while keeping his hands and fingers off, and for someone who really has a problem with restraint, this new assignment might be the most challenging yet.
Josie has no idea what this crazy hot guy’s deal might be, but it’s a good bet that his arrival means the new life she started after leaving home is about to be thrown into an Olympian-sized blender turned up to “puree”. Either Josie is going insane or a nightmare straight out of an ancient myth is gunning for her.
But it might be the unlikely attraction simmering between her and the golden-eyed, secret-keeping Seth that may prove to be the most dangerous thing of all.
Book 1 in the new adult paranormal TITAN series, spin-off to the best selling COVENANT series.
Seth's Story
All the rumors you heard about her state aren’t true.
Well, mostly. When she's not hard at work writing, she spends her time, reading, working out, watching zombie movies, and pretending to write.
She is the author of the Covenant Series (Spencer Hill Press), the Lux Series (Entangled Teen), Don't Look Back (Disney/Hyperion) and a yet untitled novel (Disney/Hyperion), and new YA paranormal series with Harlequin Teen.
Jennifer also writes New Adult and Adult romance under the pen name J. Lynn. The Gamble Brothers Series (Tempting the Best Man/Tempting the Player) and Wait for You. Under her pen name, she is published with Entangled Brazen and HarperCollins.

I haven't had a chance to read her Covenant series, but this one sounds really good! I've loved most of her YA stuff so far, so I'm planning to get around to everything else soon that she's written :)
ReplyDeleteLove that series. Although I will say that I was a bit disappointed with the ending. I needed more, I guess. And I'm getting it! I'd love to know what you think of it!
Delete2015? Really?! Well, she does write like a fiend :) My library just picked up the Covenant series so based on your "recommendation" and the fact that it's been on my TBR forever, I'll try and read it before this one comes out. But this is a great pick!!! You know with Jennifer it's going to be good!!!! She's one of my fave authors!!
ReplyDeleteSeriously! LOL! I don't know how she does it without wiping herself out totally. There's only ever been one book I didn't like by her, so I'd say go get The Covenant series, ASAP!
DeleteI haven't read this series, but that guy on the cover is speaking to me...although he does look a little creepy, I SO want to read this. Great choice!
ReplyDeleteCreepy works for Seth, believe me.
DeleteHaven't read the Covenant series yet, but I'll have to soon, because that sounds amazing! :)
ReplyDeleteHere's mine
Kirsty @ StudioReads
Go read it. It's really good!
DeleteI'm so excited to read this one!!! Seth! More Covenant! *flailing*
ReplyDelete*Muppet Arms!*
DeleteI always loved Seth, even if I was rooting for Alex and Aiden. I stopped at Deity so I need to catch up.
ReplyDeleteYou've gotta finish to see if Seth redeems himself!
DeleteI have not read the Covenant series, and I probably won't, so I won't be reading this one! I hope you love this spinoff series, Brooke :D
ReplyDeleteThanks for visiting my blog!
Alyssa @ The Eater of Books!
Are you not into mythology type books? Thanks for stopping by.
DeleteI really loved the Covenant series! I'm definitely looking forward to Seth's story <3
ReplyDeleteGreat pick,
