What a shame about Perfected. Nice that Entangled sent you an ebook. I stopped ordering books through the mail because they always arrived with some kind of damage. Now I get my local bookstore to order them in. Much less risk and the price is usually pretty much the same.

I know. It's such a pretty cover. Luckily I have AMAZING friends who picked a copy up for me at ALA! I didn't order this one. They just sent it to me. I order books in the mail on the time and I rarely have a problem. But they come in boxes and are usually delivered via UPS or FedEX (and they treat their packages much nicer than the post office does).
DeleteThat's horrible that USPS did that. I hate when that happens. That was so nice of Entangled to send you the e-book. I usually go digital or have the book store order them for me, so that doesn't happen.

Since it came to me out of the goodness of them just sending it to me, I wasn't even expecting it! Luckily, like I said to Marilyn, I have great friends who opted to pick me up a copy at ALA. So I will get an perfectly intact book, hopefully as it does have to go through USPS to get to me (UGH!).
DeleteWow, just wow... I can't believe how they could do that to a parcel! It hurst seeing a book so damaged!! Glad that the publisher also sent you an ebook!

DeleteOoh, I would of been so mad if USPS did that to my mail!! Lucky my mail man is "Pretty" good if he can ever get the address right...lol! Well that's good that they sent you an eBook that way you can still read it at least!!
