She wasn’t supposed to talk to him outside of their sessions. But as she began to peel the layers of Daggers and learn who he is, the one boy she is supposed to be saving, might just be the one who is saving her.
Saving You Saving Me inspired the Saving You Saving Me Project found at: http://www. SavingYouSavingMe.com
The Saving YOU Saving ME Project was inspired by the book, which tells the story of Samantha (Sam) Sullivan, who becomes a peer counselor at a teen and young adult crisis center called Sawyer House. The Saving YOU Saving ME Project tries to replicate the atmosphere of Sawyer House by allowing a place for teens through adults a place to share their issues anonymously and in doing so, might be able to help others learn from it or might receive feedback from people about what to do.

And now, here's what Kailin had to say to The Cover Conetssa's interview questions!
1Did you always know you wanted to
be a writer or did you want to be something else?
How long does it take you to
write a book from start to finish?
- I do a lot of research and outlining
before the writing. The pre-writing stage can take months or years. But writing
itself takes about a week or week and a half if I write about 18 hours in day.
How do you come up with themes
for your stories?
- I’m inspired by everything and
anything – art, history, pop culture, true stories, my own personal
experiences, news, fairy tales, folklore, dreams, and visions.
Do you have a schedule of when
you write?
Yes, I write in spurts which are
intense and highly focused.
How are you able to balance
other aspects of your life with your writing?.
I make priorities and do make sure to
spend quality time with family and social life, exercising, and rest.
What elements do you think make
a great story line?
Compelling plot and well-developed
characters
What was the hardest thing about
writing a book?
The actual process of writing is not
hard, it is trying to do everything at once…the balancing of life with writing
which is hard because you’re so passionate about the book and the writing, you
can forget about everything else if you don’t have discipline.
How many books have you written
so far? Do you have a favorite?
Over 100. I have several favorites.
Do you have a favorite
character?
I have lots of favorite characters, but
are a few anyways: Breena Malloy
(Frost Series), Samantha Sullivan (You & Me Trilogy), Celestra Caine (FADE
Series), Kalina (PULSE Vampire Series), Summer Jones and the Donovans (Loving
Summer Series), and Errol King and Taryn (Master Chefs Series).
Where do you write?
I write everywhere, but one of my
favorites is my place in Las Vegas.
When deciding on how to
publish, what directed you to the route you took?
I wanted to write the type of books
that are different and innovative, which my first series were, which I was able
to include resources to the back of my fiction books. I was able to mix genres
(which was taboo when I first started).
Have you gotten feedback from
family about your book(s)? What do they think?
I’ve gotten feedback about my books
from my husband. I’ve gotten feedback from family members who believed in my
books enough to go out there and show my books to some influential people. My
family is very very supportive, and I am fortunate they are some of the biggest
evangelists for me and my books.
What kinds of things do you
like to do outside of writing?
I like to read and watch movies as well
as television shows. I also like to try new foods and travel.
What kinds of advice would you
give to someone who wants to start writing?
If you want to be published by a
publisher, study the kinds of books they publish, be professional, and submit
polished work.
Self-published or
traditionally-published, keep at writing, and when you have your first book or
your fifty books, be mindful of manners. Manners and etiquette goes a long way.
What is your favorite book?
favorite author? Do you have an author that inspired/inspires you to
write?
Favorite books of all times would be The Hobbit and Lord of the Rings. Favorite authors are Stephen King and Anne Rice.
Do you have any go to people
when writing a book that help you with your story lines as well as editing,
beta reading and such?
Yes, I have an entire team, including
staff who work for theEDGEbooks.com, the publisher for my New Adult and YA books.
Are you working on anything
now?
Yes, lots of things – I work on various
books at different stages.
