Today I'm reviewing Episodes #7 and #8 of Debt Collector series by Susan Kaye Quinn.
If you have not picked this series up yet, you really should. It's so great getting to know these characters and watching their evolution!
What's your life worth on the open market?
A debt collector can tell you precisely.
Lirium tries to keep his promise to Madam A to do transfers for her kids, but he is afraid Kolek will go after his mom.
The Cover Contessa's Review:
Another awesome episode.
I will honestly say that I never intended to love this series so much. I mean, I knew that I loved Susan's writing, don't get me wrong. But I wasn't expecting to be pulled into this and get so completely engrossed in it. To be waiting with baited breath for the next episode every time I get to the last page of one!
And I never expected to fall for Lirium so hard. I mean, the guy was not so nice at the beginning of all this. He just did his job and went about throwing his emotions out the window and not worrying about them. But slowly he's become more and more of a man. More and more of someone who is capable of so much more than just his job. I'm really getting an idea of his sense of duty. Of who he was before he took on his job as debt collector.
I can't say much more because as usual I don't want to give anything away. But I can say that if you have not picked up this serial I really don't know what you are waiting for!

The Cover Contessa's Review:
Seriously, Sue, again you leave me hanging? You better have one heck of a finisher for the 9th episode is all I can say!
What can I say about this series that I haven't already said? Not much
The one thing I did notice about this episode is that Lirium is really starting to break down. He's starting to act very human with emotions overflowing out of him. I love seeing the vulnerable side of him. It makes me like him even more. Makes me want him to have a happily ever after even more. I'm not sure where he is going to end up but I hope it is somewhere that puts my mind at ease.
Come on EPISODE 9!!!!!!

Come on EPISODE 9!!!!!!
Susan Kaye Quinn grew up in California, where she wrote snippets of stories and passed them to her friends during class. Her teachers pretended not to notice and only confiscated her stories a couple times.
Susan left writing behind to pursue a bunch of engineering degrees, but she was drawn back to writing by an irresistible urge to share her stories with her niece, her kids, and all the wonderful friends she’s met along the way.
She doesn’t have to sneak her notes anymore, which is too bad.
Susan writes from the Chicago suburbs with her three boys, two cats, and one husband. Which, it turns out, is exactly as a much as she can handle.
ARGH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I HAVEN'T READ EPISODE 8 YET!!!!!
